This is the perfect walking tour for visitors wanting to see the major highlights of Florence.  The itinerary will include:

• Accademia Gallery, where you will see the stunning David by Michelangelo. We can make reservation in advance to avoid the long lines

• San Lorenzo church (from the outside) and San Lorenzo square with the very picturesque market 

• Duomo (the Florence cathedral, with visit to the interior)

• The Battistero (Baptistry) and Giotto’s Belltower (from the outside)

• Ponte Vecchio, the most ancient bridge of Florence and one of the most famous of the world

• Piazza della Signoria, the beautiful square with the Middle Age Palazzo Vecchio building and the statues of the Loggia dei Lanzi

• Brief lunch break  

• Quartiere di Santa Croce, the characteristic neighborhood of Dante, the author of the Divine Comedy

• The church of Santa Croce, where you can see the tombs of many famous artists like Michelangelo and Galileo
